Every Transition Meeting tells two stories; the story of a year well spent and the story of a year waiting to be written. On 6th July 2026, the Rotaract Club of APIIT gathered at the APIIT City Campus Auditorium to celebrate both. As members, alumni, Rotaractors from fellow clubs, guests, and well-wishers came together, the Club reflected on the achievements of the 2025/26 Rotary Year and welcomed a new chapter guided by the theme, "Legacy in Action."

Following the traditional Rotaract formalities, the Secretary's Report, presented by the Outgoing Joint Secretaries, Rtr. Shalindri Sathiyanathan and Rtr. Harivithushanan Sasendran, reflected on the milestones that defined the 2025/26 RI Year. From impactful community service initiatives and leadership development opportunities to memorable fellowship and the continued growth of the Club, the report showcased the collective dedication and teamwork that have been instrumental towards the growth of RAC APIIT.

A defining moment of the evening was the ceremonial handover of the Presidential Gavel and Club Charter Certificate from Outgoing President Rtr. Gayathiri Manoharan to Incoming President Rtr. Senula Silva, symbolising the official transition of leadership. In his inaugural address, President Senula shared his vision for the year ahead before introducing the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the RI Year 26/27, reaffirming the Club's commitment to meaningful service and impactful leadership.

The event was further enriched by inspiring addresses from the Club Patron, Outgoing and Incoming Guide Club Coordinators, and Rotaractors, whose presence reflected the strong bonds of fellowship that unite the Rotaract community.

As RAC APIIT embarks on another exciting Rotary year, Legacy in Action serves as more than a theme; it is a commitment to honour the foundations built by those before us while creating meaningful impact for the future. Together, we look towards another year of service, leadership, fellowship, and lasting change as we continue writing the next chapter of the RAC APIIT.
