Hi everyone! I’m Ayuni Karunatilaka, a second-year Law undergraduate. I’m passionate about playing the sitar, netball, and debating, and I love embracing opportunities to learn and grow. I’m also a volunteer teacher because I believe even the smallest acts of service can make a meaningful difference, and giving back to the community is one of the main reasons I joined Rotaract. Joining Rotaract has been one of the best parts of my university journey, introducing me to amazing friends, unforgettable experiences, and opportunities to grow while making a positive impact. I live by the motto, “If you never try, you’ll never know,” and I hope to inspire others to step outside their comfort zones and make the most of every opportunity.

I’m a second year law student and I’m currently in my second semester. I somehow survive law school by doing side quests. I'm a huge Kollywood fan and love trying the weirdest food combinations and I'm absolutely obsessed with my cat.

I’m Ashwinth, currently serving as one of the Joint Directors of Sports and Recreational Activities. As someone who absolutely loves all sports, being part of Rotaract has been a truly transformative journey. It has pushed me to step out of my comfort zone, build meaningful connections, and channel my competitive spirit into collaborative teamwork. Through organizing events and leading teams, I’ve overcome personal and professional challenges that have immensely shaped my growth. Vishal Manivannan ...belongs to the community of "roll up the thin sleeve and take what is mine." I do not merely play badminton but dictate the tempo of the entire match with a calculated grace that made me the vice-captain of the APIIT University team. Now, stepping in as the Director of Sports and Recreation, I am prepared to redefine the arena. My vision for the club’s sports and recreation is charmingly sweet but unapologetically arrogant. I aim to make sports and recreations an unforgettable spectacle where winning is the only option. Beyond the competitive arena, I master my grand strategy as a Business Management student specializing in Sustainability because enduring influence requires meticulous planning, not just short-term luck. When I retreat from the spotlight, I am contentedly stuck in a web of books, quietly dissecting the strategies of history. I am here to elevate the club, but I intend to do it entirely on his own terms.

I am a passionate and dedicated individual with a strong interest in environmental sustainability and wildlife conservation. I’m Raqeeb Ameen, a Cybersecurity student at APIIT with a deep passion for digital innovation, AI, and growth hacking. Whether I’m building out new solutions with Claude Code, hitting the football pitch, or unwinding with high-stakes anime like Solo Leveling, I always thrive in environments that challenge me to strategize and level up. Stepping into the role of Co-Director of Digital Services for Rotaract gives me the perfect opportunity to merge my love for tech with community service. I am incredibly excited to collaborate with this amazing team, drive impactful digital initiatives, and make unforgettable memories with like-minded changemakers!

I’m Sharoon, serving as the Regional Engagement Director for the RI Year 2026-27. Currently a third-year Computer Science student at APIIT, my approach to leadership is driven by structure and execution a mindset rooted in my lifelong passion for sports and the discipline it instilled in me. Since joining Rotaract as a member in 2025, I have built a comprehensive understanding of project dynamics by serving on various committees and leading two initiatives as Chairperson. These experiences have naturally aligned me with regional development. My core mission this year is to strengthen inter-club fellowships and spearhead highly impactful community service projects across the region.
